LM10 Microfluidizer® High Shear Fluid Homogenizer
Model LM10 features digital control and temperature monitoring capabilities. A removable cooling coil and cooling bath are incorporated into the design to promote optimal temperature control. An economical air-driven intensifier pump supplies the desired pressure. The LM10 is an affordable solution for laboratory scale cell disruption and emulsion applications. Ideal applications include: emulsions, dispersions, liposomes, cell disruption. For additional product details and specifications, click here to visit the Microfluidics website.
LM20 Microfluidizer® High Shear Fluid Processors
The LM20 is Microfluidics’ least expensive, electric drive system, operating at up to 2000 bar (30,000 psi). Utilizing the same unique fixed geometry interaction chambers as the flagship M-110P model, the LM20 is an affordable solution for non-cGMP Studies. Options are available to customize the LM20 in order to fulfill specific experiment requirements. For additional product details and specifications, click here to visit the Microfluidics website.
M-110P Microfluidizer®: A “Plug and Play” Electric Benchtop Laboratory Homogenizer
Powered by a standard 20 amp single -phase electrical outlet, the M-110P requires no compressed air and no hydraulic cooling water to achieve up to 2000 bar (30,000 psi) operating pressure. It also fits under a standard laboratory chemical hood. A small volume model (M-110PS) is available. All are CE compliant. Ideal applications include: stable nanodispersions, stable nanoemulsions, cell disruption (E. coli, yeast, etc.), microencapsulation in polymers, liposomes and oils, deagglomeration. LV1 Low Volume Microfluidizer® Homogenizer
The LV1 was developed to bring Microfluidizer high shear fluid processing to the mililiter scale. This allows university, research teams, biopharma companies and others to process as small as 1 mL of their expensive ingredients and materials. Recommended uses include: Nanoencapsulation, Nanoemulsions, Nanosuspensions, Deagglomeration, Liposomes, Cell Disruption. M-110Y Microfluidizer® Processor for Micro-Mixing
Model M-110Y is a portable, small-footprint, high-pressure pneumatic lab homogenizer that consistently delivers big results. It allows you to easily control process pressures and temperatures, and achieve shear rates that are greater than those delivered by competing industrial mixers or lab homogenizers. With an air-powered intensifier pump, this processor safely and easily maintains steady pressures, accelerating the product stream to extreme velocities, and achieving remarkably tight particle size distributions and unprecedented particle size reductions. Constantly applied, tightly controlled process pressures ensure that every milliliter of product is subjected to the same shear forces within the ceramic interaction chamber. As a result, you get the most consistent high-pressure homogenization results possible, including uniform particle and droplet size reduction (often submicron), deagglomeration and high-yield cell disruption.
